Indications for CLEOCIN T:

Acne vulgaris.

Adult Dose for CLEOCIN T:

Apply thin film twice daily.

Children's Dose for CLEOCIN T:

Not recommended.

Pharmacological Class:

Lincosamide antibiotic.

Contraindications:

History of regional enteritis, ulcerative or antibiotic-associated colitis.

Warnings/Precautions:

Avoid eyes, mouth, abraded skin, mucous membranes. Atopic patients. Discontinue if significant diarrhea occurs. Pregnancy (Cat.B). Nursing mothers: not recommended.

Interactions:

May potentiate neuromuscular blocking agents. May antagonize erythromycin.

Adverse Reactions:

Dryness, oily skin, burning, erythema, abdominal pain, gram (–) folliculitus, stinging eyes; rare: diarrhea, colitis.
